Shri Kalyan Books Depot (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Company”) owns and operates the website kalyanbookdepot.com (the “Platform”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform, including browsing, registration, placing orders, and availing services.

By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the Platform. By using it, you represent that you are eligible and capable of entering into binding contracts.

3. User Account & Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or checkout.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.

4. Products & Orders

• All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product.
• Prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Shipping/handling charges are extra.
• We strive to display accurate product descriptions, images, and prices, but errors may occur. We may cancel orders due to pricing errors without liability.
• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We accept the order by confirming dispatch.

5. Payment

• We accept payments via Razorpay/Paytm/other gateways (UPI, Cards, Netbanking, etc.).
• We do not store your card details (PCI DSS compliant gateways handle payments).
• All payments are final unless covered under our Refund Policy.

6. Shipping & Delivery

• We ship within India via trusted partners (Delhivery, DTDC, India Post, etc.).
• Estimated delivery: 3-10 business days (depending on location).
• Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
• For international orders, please contact us separately (customs/duties extra).

7. Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement (before dispatch). Contact us immediately. No cancellation after dispatch.
• Returns:
  • Accepted only for defective, damaged, wrong item received.
  • Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery..
  • Product must be unused, in original packaging with tags/invoice.
  • Return shipping charges borne by customer (unless defective/wrong item – we reimburse).
  • No returns on: Sale/discounted items, digital downloads, or personalized products.
• Refund Process:
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after verification.
  • Refunds are processed after applicable deductions as per policy.
  • No cash refunds.
• All refunds subject to our verification and RBI guidelines.

8. Intellectual Property

All content (images, text, logos) on the Platform is our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use without permission.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for illegal purposes
• Upload viruses/malware
• Harass/abuse others
• Attempt unauthorized access

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the order value.
• We are not responsible for third-party delivery delays or issues.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
