REFUND, RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Shri Kalyan Books Depot is committed to customer satisfaction. We follow RBI guidelines, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, and fair business practices.
- Order Cancellation
- You can request cancellation within 24 hours of placing the order (before dispatch).
- After dispatch, no cancellations accepted.

- Full refund (minus any gateway charges) processed to original payment method.
- Returns & Replacements
- Accepted only for: Defective, damaged, wrong item received.
- Raise return request within 7 days of delivery.
- Product must be unused, in original packaging with invoice/tags.
- Return shipping: Customer pays (we reimburse if defective/wrong from our end).
- Non-returnable: Sale/discounted items, personalized books, digital/e-books.
- No returns for change of mind.
- Refund Process
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after successful verification and credited to the original payment method..
- Credited to original payment method only (unless customer requests alternate under same ownership).
- Deductions: Payment gateway fees (2–3%), shipping (if applicable).
- In case of delay beyond timelines, penal interest as per RBI rules will apply.
- For failed transactions: Auto-refund initiated within T+1 day (RBI mandate).
- How to Raise a Request
- Email us with order ID, photos of issue, and invoice.
- We verify within 2–3 days and guide next steps.
